Dear Project Runway,
Oh how I love you. You make me giggle with the joy of a 12 year old girl who’s just seen her new crush. I love the new characters your show brings to us season after season. We get such awesome catch phrases from your show. “Make it work” “Fierce” “Andre!!” “Where the hell is my chiffon??” and now… “girlicious?!?!?”
Last season I shrieked in delight when I first heard about “spit marks” and loved every word that came out of Christian’s mouth. However, I must say… you are getting LAZY about your challenges, PR!! Is it because you’re moving to Lifetime?? Don’t recycle old challenges, no matter how fun they were! And PLEASE no more running in places with 5 minutes to grab whatever they want. LAZINESS, PR, LAZINESS!!!!
The only part of your show I will ALWAYS love, no matter what network you move to…. if of course my beloved Tim Gunn. He is the glue that holds your show together. He says words 95% of the population doesn’t understand and is ALWAYS impeccable. Even when he’s waking the designers up at 5 AM. He’s still in a 3 piece suit looking FABULOUS! He’s pretty much the most awesome human… ever.
So I would appreciate if you would try and be more creative this season. And show Tim Gunn more. And don’t let us know who will be leaving in the first 5 minutes of the show by showing clips of that inevitable person saying, “I really don’t want to go home this week.” You may as well write across the screen…. THIS PERSON WILL BE LEAVING. I miss the suspense of season 1, PR! I had NO idea who was leaving… even though I always wanted it to be Wendy.
